WELCOME TO THE BONN-RHINE MONUMENT AND HISTORY SOCIETY

We are a "citizens' initiative" of about 320 friends and supporters for the preservation of the cultural heritage in the city district of Bonn-Beuel. Founded in 1975 under the name Verein Haus Mehlem e.V., our activities began with the rescue of the patrician house Mehlem in Beuel, which was threatened with demolition.

OPENING HOURS OF THE HOUSE/MUSEUM

The Mayor Stroof House and thus our museum is open

  • Fridays from 3pm to 6pm
  • Sundays from 3pm to 6pm

and by appointment. Prior registration is not required.

In the house, you can take part in a free audio guide tour where you can get information about the house, the individual rooms and the history via your smartphone.
